A closer look at past projects...
Like Minds Designs divides our projects into the following stages: Initial Design, Revisions, Final Design and Production. Scroll down to learn more about each stage of the design process.

Client: Absolute Racing Project: Logo Design
Initial Design - Draft 1
During the project consultation, our client specified that they wanted an edgy, gritty logo that could convey the name "Absolute Racing," a bicycle racing team. Per the contract agreement, Like Minds Designs provided two versions of the logo for Draft 1 in black and white.
Revisions - Drafts 2 and Up
Draft 2: After reviewing the versions, the client decided to proceed with Version 1. At this point, the project entered the revisions phase. For the first change, our client wanted to see the logo with more menacing flames around the edges.
Draft 3: Next, our client requested a pair of eyes inside the letter graphics of "A" and "R."
Draft 4: Then, our client wanted to see one more option of eyes that was less cartoonish, and somewhat cat-like.
Final Design
Finally, our client opted to revisit Draft 2, and keep the shield emblem without any eye graphics. The next step was to add color to the logo design. Our client requested a red, black and yellow color scheme. Like Minds provided two versions of color: one darker and one brighter.
Production & Publishing
After choosing the Version 2 brighter color scheme, the logo project was completed. Absolute Racing received the logo in both black & white and color formats as JPG, TIFF and EPS files on a disk for future use.
